The band started its career in 2008 playing music which is at once mature and easy on the ear. Music of today, but somehow reminiscent of the 60-ties, suggestive of lovely days of sun, sea and life on the beach.
The versatile musicians of The Heyz with their beautiful compositions and perfect vocal harmony won the wide acclaim of enthusiastic audiences. The jury of the Park Open in Arnhem awarded them the first prize, and EMI publishing immediately offered them a publishing deal.

In June their first single “My Dear Mother Angel” came out and got a lot of ariplay on the dutch radiostatons. Since 10 Januari the single "tick Tock" is out, it is expected that it will meet a warm reception.
